Reading Workshop Day!!

It’s October 1.
I hope everyone had a great weekend!!! I think Fall has actually started. This week is going to be a busy week: 2 days of Advisory Schedule, 2 days of Ms. V being absent, AND a 1/2 day on Friday!!! Whew!!

Today is “CD Player Day.”  Do you KNOW what a CD player is? What about a CD? Do you think your parents know what a "CD player" is???

During  SSR think about how many electronic devices are used. Would your book make sense if the electronics weren't there? Thinks about those as you read.  After SSR, we are going to use the literature book and read "Eleven" by Sandra Cisneros.  Be sure to get your Reader's notebook after you read this blog, that way you are ready to begin SSR.
Y'all know what my expectations are for your behavior. I know there won't be any problems. I will see you guys on
Wednesday. :0)
